POLYOX Organic Material Oxidizer/Water Conditioner/Algae Controller provides superior water quality and assists in preventing growth of various cyanobacteria (commonly called red or blue green slime algae) by simply removing their food source.
Kent Marine Kent Marine Polyox

It will oxidize leftover food and dissolved and suspended organic matter. This will increase the water quality and provide a better environment for your fish and invertebrates! Use when water quality suffers due to heavy bio-loading.

  • Instantly begins to oxidize dissolved and suspended organics
  • Assists in preventing red or blue-green slime algae
  • Returns water to a natural state!
  • For Fresh & Marine Systems, fish-only and reef tanks
  • Does not contain any algaecide.
  • 8oz treats up to 11000gal

Considerations for use:
Poly Ox must not be used on systems less than 30 days old or immediately after major water changes (>30%). There must be enough organic matter either dissolved or suspended in the water to necessitate treatment. Do not use with chelated copper medications particularly Copper Power brand!

The marine method is completely safe for invertebrates and marine fish. Red velvet and other true algae will not be affected by Poly•Ox. Continue running skimmers. Do not use with ozone, and wait 1 week after ozone use to apply. If you have a redox meter, do not exceed 460 mv! It is recommended that you suspend carbon or resin filtration during use. A large partial water change and a fresh charge of Kent Marine Reef Carbon is recommended at the termination of treatment. After carbon use, apply the appropriate Kent Essential trace mineral for your system.

Directions:
First Read Considerations for use below! Freshwater: Add one dose only at 1 teaspoon (1 capful or 5 ml) to 4 teaspoons per 10 gallons (40 liters) of system capacity depending on bio-load. Can be repeated at 7 day intervals. Marine: (reefs and fish-only systems): Add one dose in the morning and one dose in the evening of 3 drops (use an eye dropper) per 10 gallons (40 liters) of system capacity for up to 10 days [this is equivalent to 1/4 teaspoon (1/4 capful or 1.25 ml) in a 60 gallon tank, twice a day]. Carefully observe inhabitants each time. If invertebrates close up at all, then half the dosage and use longer if necessary. DO NOT EVER OVERDOSE! Product can be squirted, slowly, on affected areas using a plastic syringe, and this is sometimes faster and more effective. This method also doses the entire tank, as well. Do not use again until time to dose again and do not exceed the above recommended dosages overall.

Hatches and feeds brine shrimp to your fish continuously
Continuous Hatch ' N Feeder Brine Shrimp Hatchery

One of the greatest inovations in fish feeding in years! The hatcher can be installed in both fresh and marine tanks. The eggs start hatching in about 18 to 24 hours. The hatched shrimp mature and simply swim out into the aquarium tank by their natural attraction to light.

    Continuous Brine Shrimp Hatcher Includes:
  • Hatcher
  • Measuring Spoon for meaasureing eggs
  • Syringe
  • Cleaning Brush
  • Air Line Tubing to attach to air pump
Directions:
This Hatcher can be installed in both Marine & Fresh water tanks. The Hatcher should be placed at a water level location using the suction cup (see Diagram in large image).

Keep the water temperature between 77F - 82F. Connect airline tubing and air pump (STELLAR) to obtain aeration in the hatching chamber. Dump 0.05oz-0.07oz salt into Salt & Egg Deposit.

Wait a few minutes for salt to dissolve in the water, then put 0.03oz brine shrimp eggs into the Salt & Egg Deposit; measuring spoons are included in the kit.

The eggs absorb water and go down into the Hatching Chamber. They start hatching in about 18 to 24 hours.

Hatched sea monkeys move up and down in the chamber with the water flow. Then they gather at the border surface between the marine water and the fresh water looking for slower water flow and preferable lighting.

Sea Monkeys will stay in the Distributing Chamber for a while to get used to the fresh water. Then finally they will step out into the fresh water tank. The sequence will take about 24 to 30 hours.

Rinse the Hatcher at least once a week or before the use after the interval. You may collect unfertilized eggs and shells at the water surface in the Hatcher.

Kent Coral Accel is a Hard & Soft Coral Growth Stimulator
Kent Marine Coral Accel

It provides complex proteins which provide a natural source of necessary amino acids that spur coral tissue growth.

Contains rich marine lipids and is particularly designed for use when fragmenting small polyped stony corals and propagating soft corals, octocorals, and colonial anemones.

Directions-Important: Invertebrate foods should be used sparingly in a marine aquarium to prevent loss of water quality! Shake well immediately prior to use: Add 1 to 2 teaspoons per 50 gallons daily depending on animal load (1 capful from 8 or 16 oz. bottle, or 5 ml = 1 teaspoon) in an area of high water flow.

Individual animals may be targeted with this product. This is the most efficient method. It also causes less pollution in the aquarium. To do this, purchase a plastic syringe

Fill the syringe with Kent Coral Accel and dispense as necessary where the product will flow over the animal. Do not touch the animal with the syringe. Do not contaminate this product with aquarium water by inserting syringe into this container!

Considerations for use: For coral propagation, Coral Accel should be used daily. It is a clean product - however, water quality should always be monitored. You must judge overfeeding by the condition of your aquarium.

Kent Phytoplex marine phytoplankton is a good choice to feed daily along with the Coral Accel.

Feed Micro•Vert once weekly in lieu of Coral Accel.

Live corals require strong lighting with proper spectrum and strong water movement, in a well seasoned aquarium. Do not attempt to propagate corals in an aquarium that is less than a year old.

Kent Marine Micro-vert Invertebrate Food

It is rich in vitamins and natural minerals from spirulina and kelp. Kent Micro•Vert is properly preserved, with preservatives reserved for human food use. It has a long shelf life without refrigeration and will provide superior results!

  • Invertebrate food for fine filter feeders
  • Provides rich sources of protein, fats and fiber for invertebrates
  • Contains spirulina and kelp
  • Provides full spectrum vitamins
  • 8oz treats up to 5000gal

Considerations for Use: At a minimum supply additional calcium through Kent Marine Kalkwasser Mix, Liquid Calcium or Turbo-Calcium and use Strontium & Molybdenum Supplement. Kent Marine Essential Elements and Coral-Vite will greatly enhance the keeping of marine invertebrates. If large numbers of invertebrates are kept, also use Kent Tech•I to supply additional iodine. Live corals require strong lighting, with proper spectrum and immaculately clean systems. Regular water changes are encouraged. Use Kent Marine Superbuffer-dKH to control alkalinity and prevent pH swings.

Directions: Shake well immediately before use, Important: Invertebrate foods should be used sparingly in a marine aquarium, to prevent loss of water quality! Add 1 to 3 drops per gallon of aquarium water, up to 3 times a week (this is equal to 1/2 to 1-1/2 teaspoons or capfuls in a 55 gallon aquarium) (Tip: Nitrite testing will warn of overdosing.) Target Method: Individual animals may be targeted with this product and this is the most efficient method. It also causes less pollution in the aquarium. To do this, purchase a plastic syringe at any drug store. Fill the syringe with Kent Micro Vert Invertebrate food and dispense, as necessary where the product will flow over the animal. Do not touch the animal with the syringe. Do not contaminate this product with aquarium water by inserting syringe into this container!

Kent Phytoplex is a highly concentrated complex of aqua cultured, naturally occurring marine phytoplankton
Kent Marine Phytoplex

It contains Nannochloropsis, Tetraselmis and Isochrysis sp. Tahitian ranging in size from 2 to 15 microns. Phytoplex provides necessary proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids for live hard & soft corals, tube worms, clams and other invertebrates

It is rich in the omega-3 fatty acids, DHA and EPA and is useful in feeding rotifers and other plankton and in raising larval fish. Phytoplex is grown in cold saltwater under laboratory conditions. It contains over 3 billion cells per capful and is typically about 15 times as concentrated as competing live cultures, meaning that one 8 oz. bottle of Phytoplex has more phytoplankton cells than 1gallon of the competition. It is free of viruses, toxins and heavy metals which can be a problem when using live algae cultures, cultured in outdoor ponds. Phytoplex contains Nannochloropsis, a small green flagellate and Tetraselmis, a large green flagellate both containing high EPA lipid levels as well as high protein contents.

It also contains Tahitian Isochrysis, a small yellow flagellate which is rich in protein, carbohydrates and DHA lipids. Phytoplex is very useful in SPS and soft coral propagation as well as overall reef maintenance.

Directions-Important: Invertebrate foods should be used sparingly in a marine aquarium, to prevent loss of water quality! Add 1 to 2 teaspoons per 50 gallons (1 capful from 8 or 16 oz. bottle, or 5 ml = 1 teaspoon) in an area of high water flow. Feed daily or several times weekly, depending on animal load.

Target Method: Individual animals may be targeted with this product and this is the most efficient method. It also causes less pollution in the aquarium. To do this, purchase a plastic syringe. Fill the syringe with Kent Phytoplex and dispense, as necessary where the product will flow over the animal. Do not touch the animal with the syringe. Do not contaminate this product with aquarium water by inserting syringe into this container!

Considerations for use: For SPS or soft coral propagation, Kent Phytoplex can be used daily. For best results, use Coral Accel simultaneously. Keep a close watch on water quality and do not overfeed! Feed Micro•Vert once weekly in lieu of Coral Accel on that day.

Live corals require strong lighting, with proper spectrum and strong water movement in a well established aquarium.
