Measure from where your pump will sit, up the tank and down into the tank again to the upright where you will attach the tubing.
NOTE: If you are pushing two uprights or powering ornaments, purchase a larger pump as each split cuts the efficiency of the filter. Better yet, purchase a pump for the filter and a separate pump for ornaments.
If your pump has only one outlet, get a 2 way splitter if you wish the air to go to two uprights or split the air from the filter to ornaments.
