Why Crate Train Your Dog

Why Crate Train?

Puppies will not soil their sleeping area. This makes crate training the fastest and easiest way to housebreak a new puppy.

By nature, dogs are den animals. A puppy crate provides the safety and security of a den, and makes your puppy comfortable while you are unable to supervise him.

Because he's confined and unable to get into trouble, crates help eliminate behavior problems such as barking, chewing, and biting caused by nervousness. A hard bone to chew or a soft lambs-wool pad will help keep him busy and comfortable.

Your puppy will be happily waiting for you to come home and love him instead of punishing him for misdeeds perpetrated in your absence.
