• The General Hardness (GH) of water has a direct influence on the regulatory functions of fish (fish skin, gills, and eggs), plants and microorganisms. A favorable GH value for most ornamental fish between 6° and 16° dH (degrees of German hardness). Often forgotten or lost in significance to testing pH, ammonia, and nitrite, General Hardness is vital to selecting fish suitable to local water supplies or testing the performance of advanced filtration methods including reverse osmosis or deionization. This kit contains one 10-ml test reagent, a test vial and instructions and recommendations. This kit is for Freshwater (including outdoor ponds), Brackish and Saltwater.

Both kits come with a 120V, GFCI-protected, weatherproof control panel that is rated highest safety protection. Has a 24-hour mechanical timer for easy on-off scheduling. During operation, the fountains float at the surface of the water using a float and mooring to anchor it in place. The motor unit attaches to the float using stainless steel hardware for a secure assembly.

The float is made of U.V.-resistant, high density thermoplastic, which gives excellent durability with an attractive shape and low visibility. The rigid polypropylene fountain housing helps protect the unit from debris and reduce the likelihood of clogging. They pull water from 360° as well as below the fountain, aerating large volumes of water. (There is also a top intake for shallow water operation.)

Model PLFL1400050, has a ring of LED lights that provide exceptional night lighting and 100,000 hours of expected life. Thanks to the LED technology, they consume very little power, keeping your operating costs low. The LED Light Ring includes 50' of underwater rated power cord and a built in Low Voltage Transformer to convert your 120V power into the 12V power used by the LED light ring. The LED Light Ring is designed for use with the 1400JFL Floating Aerating Fountain and should be plugged into the "LIGHT" outlet in the C-25 Control Box.

The LR-275 Low Voltage Light Kit is a NEW Low Voltage Light Kit in Kasco Pond Fountain Lighting Packages. The LR-275 was developed to produce maximum light with minimal costs. It uses two of the solid bronze fixtures instead of three, which helps keep costs lower. The package includes two, clear, 75 watt MR-16 halogen bulbs to fully illuminate your Fountain pattern. The LR-275 Lighting Package is intended for use with the 2400VFX, 3400JF and 3400HJF , and 3400VFX and 3400HVFX Floating Aerating Fountain models and includes all the mounting hardware to accompany those Floating Fountain models. This fountain makes an ideal centerpiece.. An antique hand pump replica sits atop a round half whiskey barrel, creating a charming water feature.
